Dreamcatcher Workshop
Using beads, bamboo, and naturally-dyed cotton from our Taileu weavers create a beautiful decoration to hang in your home, and improve your dreams!. Our master English-speaking teacher will guide you through each step. An activity for all skill levels.
Hmong Reverse Embroidery
Learn how to reverse embroider with your Hmong teacher, Bai Ly. She learned to sew at just four years old. Bai Ly will guide you to create your own hand-embroidered creation using the traditional Hmong reverse technique.
Paper Making
Travel to the paper village for a hands-on paper making experience. Learn the process of preparing mulberry bark, from boiling to breaking it down. Get your hands dirty as you make a piece of paper. Decorate your creation with natural ingredients.
Backstrap Loom Weaving
Experience weaving with a Katu family of sisters and nieces. Learn how they weave on backstrap looms, adding glass bead decorations. Make a strap to take home for use with a bag, camera, or as a belt.
Silver Jewellery Workshop
In this half day workshop be guided by a master silversmith and make a ring, earrings or a small pendant with 10grams of 99.9% silver. A unique experience to fashion your own piece of jewellery.
Artisan Village Experience - Luang Prabang Province
A two-day experience, a few hours from Luang Prabang, in which you will travel to a Tai Leu village and stay two nights at Somdeth's homestay. Choose your workshops - Experiment with local natural dyes. learn spinning & cotton weaving or bamboo weaving. Meals, transfers and public transportation are all included.
