Dream Catcher Workshop
Tong Taileu - ທຸ ງໄຕລື້ or Taileu Dreamcatcher
Literally translated Taileu flag, this dreamcatcher is inspired from the long flags
made by Taileu women and taken to hang in temples to bring peace to their
ancestors, providing a stairway to heaven. These diamond shapes are made out
of bamboo and naturally dyed cotton threads, styled into beautiful shapes.
Hung in the home, they are considered to bring good dreams and good luck.
Using beads, bamboo, and naturally-dyed cotton from our Taileu weavers create a beautiful decoration to hang in your home. Our master English-speaking teacher will guide you through each step. An activity for all skill levels.
Improve your dreams by creating your own Taileu coloured cotton dreamcatcher!
